지난 8월 18일, 국립국제교육원(NIIED) 1층 국제홀에서 금년 학위를 취득한 정부초청 외국인 장학생 총 474인의 졸업을 축하하기 위한 귀국 환송회​가 개최되었습니다.

최고은 무용단의 축하공연과 국립국제교육원 고등교육국제화부 김성근 부장의 개회사로 막을 올린 본 행사에서는 여러 내외빈이 졸업생들의 노고를 위로하고 향후 진로를 응원하는 축사를 담당했으며, 우수졸업생 2인(부산대학교 석사 Dzhaparova Alina, 서울대학교 석사 Steciuk Maria Katarzyna)의 고별사가 그 뒤를 이었습니다.

수료증서 수여식과 추억소환 사진/영상 공모전 시상식을 통해 장학생들은 한 명 한 명 한국에서의 유학 시절을 무사히 끝마칠 수 있었음을 기념했고, 서로를 향해 아낌없는 격려의 박수를 보냈습니다. 행사 종료 이후 피로연에서도 함께 즐겁게 먹고마시면서 그간의 회포를 풀고 추억을 남기는 장학생들의 모습을 발견할 수 있었습니다.

동문 여러분, 그동안 정말 수고 많으셨습니다. 졸업과 수료를 진심으로 축하드립니다!

The National Institute for International Education (NIIED) hosted a GKS Farewell Reunion to celebrated the graduation of 474 GKS scholars that will return to his/her home country. The event took place on August 18 2022 at the institute's International Hall. 

The Farewell Reunion was opened with a congratulatory performance and an opening speech by Kim Seong Geun, the Directory of the Ministry of Higher Education Internationalization at NIIED. It was then followed with a speech by two outstanding graduates, Dzharparova Alina (Pusan National University, Master's) and Steciuk Maria Katarzyna (Seoul National University, Master's).

Afterwards, an award ceremony for the photo/video contest was also held, where chosen applicants were awarded with a certificate and applauded for their successful completion in their studies here in South Korea. The event was concluded with a lunch feast for the scholars and all attendees that they may create and leave with more great memories!

To all scholars and alumni, thank you for your hard work! We genuinely give you our congratulations on your graduation and completion!
