On February 24, 2022, a Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) Information Session was organized and hosted by GKS Alumni and Publicity Envoy, Ms. Jervian Johnson of Jamaica.(invited in 2014, Ajou University) 

This event was hosted with the objective of creating awareness about the scholarship for Jamaican students who may be eligible to apply.

Ms. Johnson gave a detailed overview of the scholarship requirement, benefits, and application process. She also shared the benefits of studying in South Korea from the perspective of a Jamaican student.

The Alumni Association Jamaica Chapter has not yet formed, so Ms. Jervian is trying her best to promote the GKS program. We hope Jamaican students to be interested in GKS Program by this information session.
