지난 10월 21일, 타슈켄트 아주대에서 우즈베키스탄 GKS 동문회가 개최되었습니다. 10인의 GKS 동문들과 김희상 주우즈베키스탄 대한민국대사, Muratov Gayrat 타슈켄트 아주대 총장, 팽주만 타슈켄트한국교육원, Mamadiyev Gayrat GKS 동문회 회장 등 국내외 내빈들이 참석자로 자리하였습니다. 김희상 대사는 동문회의 활발할 활동 및 양국 교류에의 기여에 감사를 표한다는 축사로 본 행사의 막을 열었으며, 향후에도 동문회 발전을 위해 지원을 아끼지 않을 것이라는 의사를 밝혔습니다.

Mamadiyev Gayrat 동문회 회장은 올해 중으로 개최 예정인 동문회 행사 및 향후 일정을 안내했으며 나아가 내년 활동에의 비전과 계획을 발표했습니다. 행사 이후 타슈켄트 아주대 학생들을 위한 GKS 프로그램 브리핑 세션이 개최되었으며, 200여 명의 학생들이 한국 유학에의 관심을 표했습니다. 브리핑 세션에서는 GKS 동문회 소개 및 한국 유학 관련 질의응답, 퀴즈 등의 식순이 진행되었습니다!

On last October 21, the Uzbekistan GKS Alumni Association held the 'Uzbekistan GKS Alumni Meeting' at Ajou University in Tashkent. The meeting was attended by 10 GKS alumni, domestic and foreign guests, including Korean Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mr. Kim Hee Sang, AUT President Mr. Muratov Gayrat, director of Korean Education Center Mr. Pang Chu Man, and GKS Alumni Chairman Mr. Mamadiyev Gayrat. The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by Ambassador Kim Hee Sang in which he expressed his gratitude to the GKS alumni association for actively contributing in various activities and also the Ambassador expressed his will to continue supporting the development of the association. 

During the meeting, GKS Alumni Chairman Mr. Mamadiyev Gayrat introduced further alumni activities in 2022 and also his vision of restructuring plans and activities for 2023. After the meeting, a briefing session regarding GKS program was held for Ajou University students and around 200 students showed their interest in pursuing their studies in Korea. The briefing session included the introduction of the GKS alumni association, Q&A session related to studying abroad, and also quizzes related to Korea!
